Hey there, Mitch here - your Venue Manager for Minnippi.

I’ve been with Clublinks for several years managing a golf course down in Victoria, and recently made the trek north (travelled 1,767km to be part of the Minnippi Team to be exact) and couldn’t be more keen to get stuck in and create an amazing facility experience for all that visit.

The best thing about the facility is that it is brand new and we can bring the community along for the journey, plus an amazing view from the top!

I truly love the industry that I work in and the ability to provide a great product & experience for patrons and the connections you can make with the community. Really looking forward to getting to know everyone.

My favourite hobby is my job, as it’s not really a job at all (don’t tell Mitch!).

Interacting with people and coaching them on how to play golf is my everyday hobby that I have done for a lifetime.

What I love about Minnippi is its brand new and has a fantastic 20 bay driving range, open for all!

The best thing about the golf industry is the diverse people that are so passionate about playing, discussing the sport and the polar opposite perspectives – take LIV Golf as an example!

I am super excited to be a part of the Minnippi Golf & Range team, bringing you all the fun and excitement that the venue has to offer!

I am a Brissie local but grew up on the sunny Gold Coast! I love sport, coffee, helping others, being outdoors, my beautiful golden retriever, Bonnie, and all things creative!

What I love about my role here and Minnippi as a venue, is that it’s brand new, home to the best (not bias...) 18-hole golf course, 20-bay driving range and mouthwatering food & beverage offerings, and will be a place that welcomes ALL.

I look forward to meeting all of the wonderful people in the Minnippi community!

As a 4170 local I’ve been excited to see the development of the new course and am proud to be a member of the opening team!

I can’t wait to get to know our new customers and introduce you to the Minnippi course. I’ve had a lot of fun putting together a food and beverage offering with a spin on locally sourced products that I can’t wait to share with you.

In my spare time I enjoying hanging out with my border collies, Rocky and Finn, going to concerts and drinking champagne!

People care how much you know when they know how much you care – As your golf professional – I am part coach, game manager, caddy, cheerleader and psychologist – your challenges are my challenges; your success is my success.

After the past 8 years as the Golf Programs Manager at the PGA IGI and the 15 years as the Head Golf Professional at Burleigh Golf Club (10 years) and Inverell Golf Club (5 years) – I have developed a successful game development approach through the ability to deliver golf information in simple and clear terms and taking the role as a “partner “in your continual improvement.

My aim is to make you a better golfer not just have a better swing providing a holistic approach to improve your game at every stage of your golf development.

Golf can be challenging and frustrating, but it can also be exhilarating and rewarding. It’s the challenge which makes the sense of accomplishment so rewarding. Whether you are just starting out or have been playing for years – I believe there is a swing and style of play which gives you your best chance to play your best golf.

Born and raised in Texas, I am Mexican-American and now a proud Australian, having officially become a citizen in 2024. I love my family, Mexican food, a pale ale (especially a Stone & Wood on a hot summer day), fitness, and yes, GOLF!

What I love about Minnippi is the variety of offerings, providing something for everyone to enjoy when they spend time with us. We have the driving range, golf course, restaurant, mini golf, AND we are dog-friendly!

The best thing about golf is spending time outdoors with friends, making new friends, and ending the round exchanging stories over a drink about how 'if it wasn’t for those 2 holes, I would’ve had my best round ever.'
